Indoor games
To ensure the maximum participation, it is decided that one team-member can participate only in one indoor game.
Chess
· Do not disturb the players by breaking the silence.
· No help should be provided to the players.
· In case on complaints the committee has the rights to take the course of action.
Snake & Ladder
· In order to start the game, a lot will be picked up to select the first, second, third and fourth players.
· The game starts with dice position “one”.
· If the dice faces “six”, the player will get a bonus chance to play again ( maximum of 3 attempts).
· The opponent’s coin will be stroke - out when a coin is reached at the same column. The stroked out player must restart the game from the start. The player can start the game through any face of dice.
Caroms (Best of three)
· Do not disturb the players by breaking the silence.
· No help should be provided to the players.
· No thumb play, base play, arrow play, half line and half red.
· Coins out of the board should be placed at center of the board.
· Red can be touched only after finishing at least one coin.
· If red goes out of the board, it should be placed at center of the board.
· No direct hit on opponent’s last coin, if so an extra coin must be placed on the board as penalty.
· While replacing minus coin, preference will be given to the opponent for replacing the concern coin on the board.
· If there is a coin in the center, the minus coin should be placed in such a way that it should not touch the other coin.
· Chair can be moved making sure that the player does not get into the opponents area (diagonally).
· If striker goes after the last coin, then the game will be finished.
· If the sticker goes first, followed by the last coin, the coin will be replaced and there will no chance for a replay.
· If the striker goes along with the coin, and there are other coins remaining on the board, that coin has to be replaced, and there will not be a replay.
· When there is a minus for the follower of red, then red and an extra coin must be placed on the board as penalty.
· If the opponent’s coin goes as the follower for the red, the red coin will be placed on the center of the board. The opponent can take that coin into this account.
· When a player finishes his opponent’s last coin (not through direct hit), the opponent is declared as the winner.
Outdoor games
Cricket
· 15 over game
· No runs for no-ball and wide (extra ball per no-ball and wide).
· No over throw, LBW and leg-bye.
· Only run-out is applicable in case of no-ball.
· Maximum over per bowler is limited to three.
· Each team can start their innings with a new ball. An old ball will be provided in case of ball lose.
· Umpire’s decision will be final.
